N Oisin - I didn't forget - I still owe u a trip - will get this sorted

Unfortunately I have to look at this attendance as Mr Kelly has informed me that I cant take a class away after every month - it would work out too expensive so I might have to take the best attenders between now and the end of the year - I need to have another wee think about this one - we will still have something - it just wont be as often - main aim of this is to improve attendance - that's what I am trying to do

I got a newspaper article that gives some advice for students picking subjects going into 4th year - if anyone wants to see this please come and speak to me and I will give it to u - it just gives some advice - might be useful

Evaluation booklets, 100km club some people still need to see me

Some people have got their evaluation booklets and have not handed them in - please keep them safe and hand them in the first day back - this is very important as they form part of your assessment at the end of the year - if u did not get yours please get this the first day back

100km club - that is up and running like other years - forms are outside my office door - please get involved and improve your fitness - there is a prize for anyone who completes the 100kms. The aim is to get more and more people/students more active so please help us out - needs to be completed by the middle of March so there is still plenty of time - so everyone needs to get going

There is a number of people that I need to see with regard to the informal chats that I had with all of TY - u should know who u are - these are just follow up chats - if u are one of these people please bring your work in so that I can see it the first Monday back - no excuses - have everything done that u were told to do - and it is up to you to find me and show me the work - thanks

A few things!! Please read PE after mid term/ Bundoran/Celtic/Ireland trips

A special reminder to all students that I have now introduced something new due to the fact that we are chasing people all the time with regard to paying for things (and its only a few people - the majority of people have everything paid for) - if there is a problem with money that is a different story altogether - but for example if we give u 6 weeks to pay for Ji Jitsu - then we would expect it to be paid - please see it from our point of view - we are chasing money all the time and it gets very annoying after a while - plus the fact we have to pay our bills as we go along - so to help us - if u have not paid for the last activity then u are not allowed to go on the next activity - there are still some people who have not paid for Ji Jitsu and so they will not be able to move onto the next activity until the money is paid - when u think about it - it does make sense. This will hopefully help everyone

The next activity is going to be the Leisure Centre in Downings after mid term - we will be going there for approximately 5 weeks - you will spend one week spinning, and the rest will be divided between the gym and pool - the cost due to the bus and paying for the Leisure Centre will be 5 euro per week - so in other words if u forget your money the first week - if it is not paid by the start of the following week - you will not be going and u will be staying at school - so that means u have a week to pay up - u have been warned so don't be giving out to me if it happens!!!!

Each week for PE - we will leave the school at 130 and back for the buses - u can get changed down there - each week u must bring gear for spinning (shorts/tracksuit, tea-shirts and runners), gear for the gym/fitness suite and gear for the pool (u need a swimming hat - u can buy this down there if u don't have one for approx. 3 euro) - we will let u know on the day which activity u will be doing but u must be prepared for all 3 activities - bring a towel and shower gel as well

Bundoran money by the first Monday back
Celtic money by the first Monday back - u can still pay for this but it must be in on the Monday - we have to book tickets
Ireland money by the first Monday back - again I have to book the tickets

I know these 3 things are now falling at the same time but the reason for this is that people have not paid for these and we have had to extend the closing dates - we did space them all out originally but due to the fact people wanted more time they are now all falling together - please do best on these as I want you all to experience as many different trips as possible in TY

Bundoran change of date!!!

TY Bundoran Trip

The TY Bundoran trip will now take place after Easter on Tuesday 29th andWednesday 30th of April.  As before, we will leave the school Tuesday morning and return for buses Wednesday evening.

Any student who didn't get a permission form, please see Ms. Dennehy to get one, and please return the form and money on Monday 24th of February. 

There are now no excuses for any student. Everyone is required to go. If u have an appointment change it!!! If someone is getting married ask them to change it!!!  People are on to me about more over nite trips!!! This is your opportunity! Don't waste it!! Teachers have changed the dates to try to accomadate all students. Please be a little bit appreciative of this and the fact that teachers do not have to organise any trips never mind an overnite trip!!!!!teachers are doing this for the benefit of TY and all of you! 

This will also mean that people will be able to go on the Ireland trip!!! 

Ireland game / Celtic game - money due in

Money for the ireland game must be in with me by the 24th February - that is the first day back after the mid term break - no excuses as the tickets must be ordered by the Tuesday of that week - the cost will be 15euro for the bus and the ticket (5 for ticket (10 for the ticket if over 16) and 10 for bus - that is a total of 15 euro) - good enough value I would say now!!!

Only thing is that anyone who has not paid for Bundoran - unless u have a very good excuse which needs to be discussed with me - is not allowed to go to the Ireland game - think this is fair! So in other words get your money in for Bundoran and u will be able to go to the Ireland game - wednesday 5th March is the date for that game!!!!

PE this week

For this week - we will be leaving the school @ 150 - bus will be out the front of the school - please be changed into PE gear - no shorts required!!!! U will need warm clothes as we will be outside - u will need a max of 1 euro for the bus and 2 euro for the activity - all students will be able to participate fully so regardless of your injury - u will be able to do something!!! Therefore u will need a max of 3 euro for tomorrow - same plans for Thursday - if u have not paid for your Ji Jitsu or bowling - then u will be staying at school so all money has to be paid up to date before we leave - u have been warned!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get changed at the school and be ready to go for your activity!!!!!!!!!!1

Old phones required
